IWF Atlanta 2026 brings the woodworking industry together at the Georgia World Congress Center from August 25 to 28. During the show, MELTWOOD is presenting the capabilities of Idealtech Drum Line drum unloaders to manufacturers seeking more precise, reliable and continuous hot-melt adhesive supply.

Industrial adhesive delivery with greater process control
Idealtech Drum Line systems are designed to melt and meter a wide range of thermoplastic materials, including EVA hot melts, pressure-sensitive adhesives, polyamides, polyurethane reactive hot melts and mastics. Depending on the configuration, melting capacity ranges from 8 to 70 kg/h, with one or two pumps.
A major differentiator is the use of servo motors to drive the adhesive pumps. This architecture provides exceptionally accurate and repeatable pump-speed control, supporting stable adhesive output, precise coat weight and closer synchronization with the production line.
Why Idealtech Drum Line?
- High metering precision: servo-driven pumps deliver responsive, repeatable adhesive flow.
- Broad adhesive compatibility: suitable for EVA, PSA, polyamide, PUR and mastic formulations.
- Flexible output: melting capacities from 8 to 70 kg/h and one- or two-pump configurations.
- Process-specific melting: fixed melting plates for lower melt rates or rising plates for medium and high melt demand.
- Intuitive operation: touch-screen HMI for centralized machine management.
- Line integration: Ethernet or Modbus connectivity for remote supervision and production environments.
- Engineered configurations: solutions can be adapted to the adhesive, output and process requirements of each line.

Tandem systems: continuous production without compromising control
For lines where stopping adhesive supply is not an option, the Idealtech tandem configuration links two drum unloaders under coordinated control. As one drum approaches empty, the system can transfer production to the second unit, allowing the depleted drum to be replaced while adhesive supply continues.
The result is a more resilient process: reduced downtime, safer drum changes, greater production availability and consistent adhesive conditions. A common HMI gives the operator a clear view of both unloaders, pump status and temperature zones.

Built for woodworking and beyond
Idealtech drum unloaders are particularly relevant to profile wrapping, panel lamination, coating and assembly processes, as well as other continuous industrial applications that require accurate delivery of high-viscosity hot-melt adhesives.
